Singapore Schools Sports Council

The Sports Leader Award (SLA) is a leadership development programme to encourage pupils to develop the interest and skills to serve the school community in a variety of areas in sports. Through this programme, students will be given the opportunity to develop qualities of leadership and responsibility and to demonstrate organisational ability and decision-making skills by leading other pupils in sports and recreational activities. This programme is targeted at Secondary two and three students. The Sports Leader Award Manual for students is attached.
